PREP COOK

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Follow the prep list provided by the Head Chef to plan daily tasks

  • Wash, chop, and portion vegetables, meats, and other ingredients for various dishes

  • Accurately measure ingredients and seasonings for recipes

  • Help monitor ingredient inventory and communicate restock needs with the kitchen team

  • Assist with basic cooking duties—such as reducing sauces, parboiling, and assembling salads or sides

  • Label and stock ingredients, ensuring freshness and easy access

  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized—sanitize surfaces, manage waste, and maintain workstations

  • Support chefs and kitchen staff with additional tasks during busy service periods

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Great communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; culinary training is a bonus

  • Skilled in handling kitchen tools—knives, utensils—with precision and care

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and move quickly as needed

  • Gain valuable culinary experience in a supportive, collaborative environment
